Lamezia Terme (SUF) is Calabria's central hub, sitting exactly where the region narrows: the Tyrrhenian coast with Tropea and the Costa degli Dei on one side, the Ionian on the other, and the Sila mountains behind. Public transport is sparse — here a rental car is the trip.
